Lieff Cabraser partner Dean M. Harvey will be moderating an American Bar Association panel discussion entitled “Competition Torts in the Trenches: Lessons From Recent High-Profile Cases.” The panel take place on November 21, 2016 from 12:30-1:30pm ET.
Three leading competition tort practitioners will offer insights and advice from their headline-grabbing cases. The panelists will explain how to address and litigate conflicts among startup investors and senior management; how to structure sensitive international transactions so that NDAs don’t prevent suppliers from performing; and how to win a competition tort trial.

A partner in Lieff Cabraser’s San Francisco office, Dean Harvey represents individuals and companies in antitrust, business tort, employment, and intellectual property litigation. His cases seek to remedy and prevent wrongful conduct by dominant firms. These precedent-setting lawsuits concern a wide variety of industries and markets. Mr. Harvey continues the fight to ensure that employees receive competitive compensation, currently representing a doctor in a class action alleging an unlawful no-hire agreement between the medical schools of Duke University and the University of North Carolina.
